PlayStation3 launch
Today was the media launch for the Sony PlayStation 3 and our orchestra was asked to play at the launch! We were the surprise waiting behind the big screen, which was hoisted up to reveal us, and we presented 2 pieces.On the whole, the day was pretty boring, comprising of giving out music, rehearsing, giving out contracts, waiting, watching from backstage, then packing up and leaving.
However, the preparation leading up to this event has been so hectic, including getting a call at 11:50pm and being dragged out of bed to fix music until 3am the morning of.
The chance to see and work with Elaine again made up for it all, and also the chance to finally talk to Phillip Chu (the conductor) and him appreciating my work was the cherry on top. ^^ AND on top of that, I got to spend time with Danny again ^^ and also, Hiro gave me an ANIF05 dvd and cd package yay! Nice day.
Dead tired, but nice day.
