AnCon07

I just came home from a week at AnCon, USyd's Evangelical Union's (EU) Annual Conference.
It was held at Stanwell Tops and the topic was Resurrection, with the speakers being Rowan Kemp and Ian Powell.

The talks and review groups were extremely intense, and it was such a privilege to be able to be on the receiving end of a weeks worth of such heavy spiritual solid food. For Jesus would have been nothing if he had not been resurrected, and His death has no meaning if he did not rise again in 3 days.

The points that really hit me during the week were;
.Although Jesus' death cleansed our bodies, we are still wearing the clothes of sin.
.A dead Messiah ain't the Messiah, Jesus' death alone does not save
.We ought to live like Jesus died yesterday, rose today, and will return tomorrow
.We must put aside the Romantic notion that we would have believed in Jesus if we had seen all the evidence, because the Pharisees DID see all his miraculous deeds and concluded that they must kill him NOW.

Here is an ACES photo ^^

Destiny Reunion

Facebook and stuff

I finally succumbed to peer pressure and severe annoyance at all the emails I've been getting requesting me to join Facebook and can now say, I'VE JOINED! baaaaaaa

Now, as for other things,
I watched Kill Bill Vol1 and 2 yesterday and was quite surprised as to how much I enjoyed it. Yes it had gruesome parts, being a violent movie about katanas, but it was really funny too.
There were several scenes where I just could not stop laughing.
Gordon Liu was a cack as usual, he's so funny that guy, and this movie's blend of English, Cantonese and Japanese was highly to my interest and amusement.

Oh, and not to mention the subtitles for the cantonese section were ENTIRELY incorrect...
