What mid-sems?

Does any else feel like this eerie lack of mid-semester exams is just too good to be true? Or the calm before the storm? Coz I've had exactly ONE mid-sem, and that was aural and easy-as, coz they took out the repertoire excerpt. And I have an assignment due the end of next week, and that's it?!
Why are ppl at UNSW freaking about exams?!

I experienced a highly moral-testing issue today, during postering, of all times.
Do you
a) remove other people's outdated posters off the board, carefully un-tacking them, or ripping them off,
and then comes the question of what do you do with them? chuck them in the bin? use them for a bonfire?
or
b) stick your poster ontop of all the other junk there and cover everything, whilst hoping that no-one else will come along and cover Your poster?

It's during times like these that you discover what sort of person you really are, deep down underneath.
Just for the record, I ripped some outdated posters that I had put up before, carefully un-tacked those that had belonged to other people, carefully pinned up my own new poster in places that obscured the least number of other signs, and chucked the old posters in the bin. =P

Translation and Concert

Translating my last blog,
On saturday Wei helped me get a Japanese keyboard going on my computer. It's very fun and I like it alot.
I watched a movie called Evangelion. The themesong was A Cruel Angel's Thesis which I love.

Happy Alan?

Last night (tuesday) I went to a violin recital by Hiroaki Yura at the Con.

His program included;
Paganini 24 Caprices, No.2 and 22
Mozart Concertto No.4 1st Mov
Brahms Sonata No.3 for vln and pno
Bach Sonata No.1 Adagio and Fugue
Tchaikovsky Vln Concerto 1st Mov.

He was absolutely amazing! And *cheer* for the accompanist Clemens Leske Jnr.
My favourites were the Bach fugue and the Mozart.
